Masks should be selected according to the KPN95 standard. Some domestically produced masks have a layer of carbon cloth, while others have a layer of carbon particles. Carbon particles are preferred as the carbon content determines the effectiveness of formaldehyde prevention.
A gas mask consists of a mask body, a filter box, and a filter cotton. The filter box should be selected to be formaldehyde resistant (do not buy dust-proof ones, as they are useless for formaldehyde). The filter box is usually replaced every 2-3 weeks, and the filter cotton should be adjusted appropriately according to the actual level of environmental pollution.
