ThefiltrationeffectsofKN95andN95masksarebasicallyequivalent,thatis,theycanblockatleast95%ofverysmall(0.075±0.02micrometerlevel)testparticles,withafiltrationefficiencyof≥95%.AndtheKN100mask,whichhasthehighestprotectionlevelintheChinesenationalstandard,hasafiltrationefficiencyof≥99.97%,whichplaysanimportantroleinfilteringfinedustforworkersandpreventingthemfromsufferingfrompneumoconiosis.
