Jade carving is a delicate craft, but a large amount of jade shavings and dust are generated during the cutting and polishing process. Jade has high hardness, fine dust particles with sharp edges, and long-term inhalation can deposit in the alveoli, leading to occupational diseases such as pneumoconiosis.
