In many industrial fields such as mechanical manufacturing, construction, shipbuilding, etc., welding operations are a crucial part. However, behind this dazzling arc and splashing sparks, there is an invisible killer of health. The smoke and harmful gases generated by welding operations are extremely complex, mainly including particles of iron oxide and manganese oxide, as well as toxic gases such as ozone, nitrogen oxides, fluorides, and carbon monoxide.
The particle size of these pollutants is extremely small, mostly below 1 micron. The protective core of the Fangdun half face mask
Based on the characteristics of welding operations, a half mask (also known as a gas mask) is an efficient and comfortable personal protective equipment. It usually consists of a rubber or silicone mask body, replaceable filter elements, and exhalation valves.
