According to national standards, spray paint mist must use filter elements that meet the KP95 or KP100 level in GB 2626-2019. KP represents oil resistant particulate matter, and 95 or 100 represents a filtration efficiency of not less than 95% or 99.97%. KN type filter cotton is only suitable for non oily dust. When used to prevent paint mist, the filtration efficiency will rapidly decrease due to the infiltration of oily substances. Therefore, it is necessary to choose KP type filter cotton.
The protection of organic vapors relies on filter cartridges, and products labeled with "organic vapors" or brown markings should be selected to comply with the GB 2890-2009 standard. The filter box is filled with adsorption materials such as activated carbon, which can effectively adsorb organic gases. If there is still an odor or irritation in the homework, it indicates that the filter box has penetrated and must be replaced immediately. Note that once the filter cartridge is opened, it will continue to be consumed, and even if it is not commonly used, it should be replaced regularly.
Daily maintenance is equally important. The mask body should be cleaned with a mild detergent after each use, dried and sealed for storage to avoid premature failure of the filter cartridge due to long-term exposure to air.
